Para-Badminton Athlete Urges

19 Kartik, Kathmandu, International para-badminton athlete Prakash Adhikari has appealed to the Minister of Youth and Sports to establish alternative examination arrangements for athletes representing the nation at domestic and international events.

On Tuesday, Adhikari presented a formal petition to Minister Bablu Gupta at the ministry’s Singha Durbar office, highlighting that athletes frequently forfeit critical examinations while

attending tournaments and closed training camps. He warned that this jeopardizes their academic prospects and urged the ministry to coordinate with relevant authorities to implement a systematic alternative-examination policy to safeguard athletes’ educational futures.
